If u look at the story through this perspective it is okay at best but it's nothing amazing since it's sort of a story most people have seen or heard dozens of times. In the fairy tale and uta who is in aspects the little mermaid.

As expected the animation in this movie is really well done and its really good to look at but there's also some elements that lack the refinement u would expect al though i would stay its still a good movie but at it's core the story is really simplistic at best without going too much into detail this story is kind of a retelling of the fairy tale classic "my little mermaid" it's about a guy named hibiki which in this case would refer to the prince
So bubble the big netflix original movie by wit studio's and some big names. I would recomend this movie to anyone since its not in anyway violent or unfriendly and it is a great movie for a one-time watch.

I dont think this movie would do good as a series or a manga considering that their climax is the art and music, but as a movie its pretty good. There was a few scenes where they went a little more deep into the characters but in general I would say that the character development was decent, it was not bad. But they could have made the characters feel more humane in many ways and not as cold as they was potrayed. I am not going to say that the character development was bad considering it was an 1,40h movie. The visuals were purely outstanding and the music sent chills through my body since it reminded me of the AoT soundtrack. When I watched the movie I couldn't help but reload the scenes one after another. And the fact that the fantastic outstanding Hiroyuki Sawano was making the soundtrack was just too much. I am a big AoT fan, so when I heard that the WIT studio director was making a movie I got very excited. I had waited for 2 weeks since I heard it was coming out. When this movie was released, I was very early to watch it. Well, If you're curious, fair enough, but if not, it's better if you start looking at the other things this behemoth of a season has to offer.
Standard Moe noises, VAs may turn out to be future talent But certainly, you can make out that they are newbies.OP and ED are short and forgettable. Wit, Maybe stop wasting budget on this yeah? Will be good enough to educate kids maybe, but I am sure there are better ways than risking Anime addiction amirite? The characters don't have enough time on screen to stand or be relevant, there isn't much story ether, the art and animation feel ok to borderline overkill In a nutshell, this show is mostly moe Mascot girl stuff probably made to sell merch, or aimed at kids to watch during intervals. I like the fact that this anime acts as a platform for new Up and coming VAs to show off their skills, this is the first role ever for most of these seiyuus and they did a really good job! But as an anime, there is not much here.
